We obtained a $275,000.00 mediated settlement for a 61-year-old Bushwick, Brooklyn housewife who slipped and fell in the roadway while crossing the street. We claimed that the nearby building created an icy condition through a leaking condition. Our client sustained a significant knee injury which ultimately required a total knee replacement. Our firm obtained a $250,000.00 jury verdict for a 20 year old Queens store clerk who sustained lower back injuries in a hit and run accident. Our client was diagnosed with bulging discs and treated with conservative care, with no surgery or injections. The defendant’s vehicle was identified, and he admitted that he struck our client on the Long Island Expressway on his way home from a night club in Manhattan. Despite this admission, his insurance company only offered $10,000.00 to settle the case arguing that our client’s injuries weren’t serious enough to justify more money. We didn’t agree and took the case to verdict, where a Queens County jury awarded our client 25x the final offer.Continue Reading

We obtained a $170,000.00 settlement at trial for a 45 year old Long Island man who was injured when a large wooden crate was knocked over at a Home Expo causing him a significant wrist injury. Through multiple depositions and detailed questioning we were able to prove that the did, in fact, control the means and methods of the contractors who caused the incident. As a result they finally offered reasonable money at trial and after we defeated all of their efforts to dismiss the case.Continue Reading
